From December 4th to 5th, 2020, the "3rd National Petroleum and Petrochemical Equipment Integrity Management Technology Conference and Localization New Equipment, New Technology and New Materials Exhibition" was grandly held in Kaiyuan Hotel, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province. The conference was sponsored by "China Petroleum and Petrochemical Engineering Research Association", undertaken by "Beijing Zhongji Petrochemical Information Technology Co., Ltd.", co-organized and supported by "China Petrochemical Oilfield Exploration and Development Division" and other units. The conference invited the leaders of PetroChina, Sinopec, CNOOC, Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum and other units and experts in the field of equipment integrity to introduce the Facility Management System of Petrochemical Enterprises in China and the relevant knowledge of foreign integrity management. A total of more than 200 representatives from relevant enterprises and institutions attended the meeting.  

With the theme of "Technology Leads the Future, New Trends in Asset Integrity Management and Inspection and Maintenance", this conference will comprehensively promote the construction of equipment integrity management system, actively build a risk-based and full-life-cycle equipment integrity management system, and improve the level of Facility Management and management efficiency, so as to ensure the safe, efficient and long-term operation of equipment.

Wang Jiming, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, honorary chairperson of China Petroleum and Petrochemical Engineering Research Association, and former president of Sinopec Group joint stock company were the keynote speakers at this conference. The topics of the reports were:

In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee, the meeting comprehensively summarized the green development achievements of the petroleum and chemical industry in the "13th Five-Year Plan", deeply analyzed the current situation and challenges facing the industry's environmental protection and safe production, explored the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, and fully exchanged and shared the typical experience of green development and advanced technologies of green chemical industry.

The industry should develop an informatization, digitization and intelligent model according to the characteristics of process manufacturing, and build a petrochemical and chemical intelligent factory and smart park through the construction of digital infrastructure and a scientific and reasonable strategic decision-making platform. At the same time, the industry should also implement an energy revolution to ensure energy security and sustainable development, implement quality changes in the petrochemical and chemical industries, adjust the industrial structure, and build a new development pattern.

During this period, the participants also went to smart factories and new energy engineering bases for on-the-spot inspections, observations, and technical exchanges.
